FIA (Forging Industry Association) Appoints New President

Weber Metals President and CEO Mr. J. Rick Creed was appointed for a one year term to serve as President of the Forging Industry Association representing over 280 member forging industry companies. As President, he will lead in carrying out FIA’s mission of productivity improvement, public advocacy, developing and transferring technology, as well as promoting overall demand for North American forgings. Weber Metals is proud and honored to celebrate Mr. Creed’s achievement.

A Cut Like No Other
Largest Saw in the Industry Makes the Cut

The new FRIGGI saw at Weber is currently one of just two FRIGGI saws in the United
States capable of cutting 250sq.in/min with 8,000 sfpm and handling material up
to 100"W x 200"L x 60"H in size and 10,000lbs.
The saw also offers unique features such as cutting vertically and horizontally
without having to flip the parts.
Summer Internship Success
Engineers Make the Grade

Weber Metals launched its first full Summer Engineering Internship Program with
engineering students from Cal State Pomona, San Luis Obispo, and Long Beach.
Their excellent performance earned them an invitation back to join Weber "full-time"
upon graduation!
